Here another video from my special week-end spent in Monaco during the last Top Marques. Monaco is for sure the Carspotting Heaven, because you can see over one hundred exotic supercars and hypercars in an ordinary day and certainly in the Top Marques days, having the opportunity to see the exlusive cars engaged in the Test Drives without losing the chance to visit this wonderful city located on the beautiful French Riviera.

In this video a stunning wingless Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series with monegasque licence plate takes part at the event giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a german supercar produced since 2010 by the Three-pointed star of Stuttgart to compete against the italian rivals Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (and F12 Berlinetta later) and Lamborghini Murcielago LP640-4 (and Aventador since 2012).
The car is assembled in Sindelfingen, Germany, and its name stands for “Sport Light Super”.
The vehicle was presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and, originally, was produced in the coupè version only but at the 2011 edition of the same show Mercedes unveiled a Roadster version also.
Both present the same 7-speed dual-clutch automatic trasmission and a powerful V8 6,2 litre engine which develops 571 hp and an impressive torque of 650 Nm that push the car to 0-100 Km/h in 3,8 seconds for a top speed of over 317 Km/h. This is one of most beautiful supercar ever thanks to its incredible design by Mark Fetherston ispired to an awesome 55 years old car, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, with it’s exclusive Gullwing doors and 20” wheels.
In 2012 Mercedes presented an updated version of SLS AMG, named Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT, with a new manual option in the trasmission mode and 591 hp and a torque of 650 Nm. The top speed is now of over 320 Km/h and allows the SLS GT to complete a lap at Nürburgring Nordschleife in under 7 minute 30 seconds.
Since 2014 Mercedes produces a limited edition of GT, named SLS AMG GT Final Edition (only 350 units made) with exposed carbon fiber hood with central air outlet, carbon fiber front splitter on the front apron, fixed carbon fiber rear spoiler.
Many special edition of this supercar were presented in last years. It’s a road legal version of the race editon (the SLS AMG GT3), produced in only 150 pieces and with a powerful engine which develops 622 hp and 635 Nm of torque.
