The Jaguar XJ will be reinvented as an electric car for its next generation, which will go on sale in 2019 after a launch at the end of 2018, the 50th anniversary of the first XJ.

The XJ is Jaguar’s flagship model and debate has raged within the company over exactly what sort of vehicle the XJ should be in the future, and even if it should exist at all.

The new XJ50 features restyled front and rear bumpers, which may also be applied to the rest of the XJ lineup for 2019 as Jaguar freshens the car while waiting for its overdue replacement. A gloss black grille, unique badges, and diamond-turned 20-inch aluminum wheels with gloss black inserts complete the exterior transformation.

Also, you can get the XJ50 in any color you like as long as you like white, black, blue, or red.

Inside, the XJ50 features plush seating wrapped in premium diamond-stitched leather. Aluminum shift paddles, metal pedal covers, special illuminated doorsill trim plates, and lots of “XJ50” emblems adorn the interior.
Despite its age, the Jaguar XJ remains a looker, that weird black panel on the car’s C-pillar the only exception to the rule. And, Jaguar has kept the XJ updated in terms of its infotainment and safety systems. Furthermore, you don’t see the XJ in the swankier parts of the country nearly as often as you do the seemingly ubiquitous (for good reason) Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Nevertheless, the time has come for a new Jaguar flagship sedan.
